Oh it sounds quite the same, then I'd rather stick to the one I have now, since I have the rights to use that and I don't know about your suggestion ;)

Indeed, the "rights to use" are important.

But it sounds the same only in that it's also a sort of bluegrass style. The tempo is more upbeat, so more appropriate for the segment after our hero finds some gold.

For future reference, I'd suggest a possibility I intend to use myself when I reach that stage: Musical performances rendered in MIDI or other digital format capturing the sequence of notes played. In such formats you can with comparative ease manipulate the tempo, the selection of instruments etc. The sound quality depends on which digital system executes the performance. Depending on how original and inventive you want to be, you can also modify the melody and harmony, or compose your own.
